eBay Watch: iPhone Email Address Sells for $355

If you thought the first auction was bad, check out this one. That's right, another iPhone email address sold for a whopping $355.00 on eBay. What's even more surprising, the seller clearly states that this "auction is for the email address only" in both the title and description. Auction page.
It is iPhone_Wholesalers at yahoo com Great way to promote your iPhone business and/or web site. The highly anticipated iPhone is on its way and the email addresses are going fast

I don't understand why people pay this much when they can even get like a domain and their own professional address for cheaper prices.

I seriously wonder if people ever take the time to read the listing or if they just read the first word "iPhone" and go "Oh! I'll bid $355!" and not even realize it's an email, and I agree with Ian, in that why pay so much for an email when you can have so much more customization than just an @yahoo.com email.

we don't know why he paid that much for one email address maybe he or she knows something what we don't know yet.
