If I'm not mistaken agmented reality is computergenerated 3d objects wich is put into a live video shoot. YOu will only be able to see this through the 2monitor" This on the other hand is 3d objekt projected onto a glass plate.

Crappy video :P The cameraman didn't alked around the hologram, i can't belive it unless i see it from other angles (I saw normal records of a hologram... i know it exists)

EON Holographic Display This display from EON is capable of displaying holographic type images in the air. Not many details are known at the moment. It seems to be from the same company who created the EON iCube and possibly similar to how the cheoptics360 XL works. ...

I suspect this is the "holoscreen" technology. It is not 3d at all. It is essentially a rear projection screen, but is transparent. The projecto is a normal 2-D video projector. The image is not holographic, but the method used to create the screen involves holography. The screen only accepts the video projector light from a narrow angle. This is what allows it to appear so transparent.

To me it's essentially a 2D screen with a 3D image...nothing too new and exciting. Now what would truly be amazing would be if this was 3D as a real hologram from all sides in 360 movement, not just looking from one angle.
