Many geeks have probably repurposed random things found around the house, but the following case involves the ingenious reuse of countless numbers of a single type of common item: rusted wrenches. Meet John Piccoli from Victoria, Australia. Called “The Spanner Man” by his community, he began making small garden sculptures from wrenches he had collected nearly 30-years-ago. Today, he uses those same wrenches to fabricate large statues and garden art pieces that are museum-worthy.
