Both Facebook and Instagram went down Tuesday for unknown reasons, with the former saying it’s working on fixing the issue: “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on it and we’ll get it fixed as soon as we can.” Users across the US as well as countries in Asia and Europe reported that they were unable to log on to the website and mobile apps. The anonymous hacker group, called “Lizard Squad”, apparently has taken responsibility for the downtime.
