Faraday FFZero1

Faraday Future’s FFZero1 Hypercar is set to be manufactured in a $1-billion factory, which just broke ground this week. Located at the Apex Industrial Park facility in Nevada and spanning 3-million-square-feet, this mega project promises to be an automated ‘highly connected and environmentally friendly’ plant. Just to recap, this hypercar is powered by a ‘quad drive’ powertrain, consisting of an electric motor at each wheel, producing in excess of 1000-horsepower combined, and capable of rocketing from 0-100 km/h in under 3-seconds. “Faraday has been poaching talent from rivals such as Tesla and BMW. The company, based in Gardena, California, outside Los Angeles, now has more than 550 employees. The company is only 22 months old. Like Tesla, Faraday will target buyers of luxury gasoline-powered cars to expand the still-tiny EV market in the United States,” according to The Daily Mail.
