Feature: Fascinating Liquids You Can Admire, Not Consume

Mention the world "liquid" and the first thoughts that pops into many minds is "water". Continue reading for two liquids you can admire, but most certainly not consume -- safely. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Magnetic Fluid

Here's something you don't see everyday. Sachiko Kodama and Minako Takeno show us what Ferrofluid -- a liquid that becomes strongly polarized in the presence of a magnetic field -- is really capable of with this amazing demonstration.

Superfluid

Superfluid is when helium-3 or helium-4 defeats friction, reaching a point where the liquid has zero viscosity, zero entropy, and infinite thermal conductivity. Practical applications include: gyroscopes for measuring gravitational effects and in satellites.
