Feature: Gamer Builds Game Boy-Sized NES Portable

For those who have been following the portable gaming scene, a portable NES may not be something new, but this example is the first pocket-sized one we've seen. Continue reading to see more. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Overview

Slightly smaller than the original Game Boy, this portable NES is based on the Super Joy III Nintendo clone and has 72 built-in games, including classics such as Contra and Super Mario Bros. To maintain the authenticity, this gamer hacked an original NES controller and wired it up to the Super Joy III main board. Other features include: an integrated speaker and a simple, but necessary on/off switch.
