Virtual Bookshelf
Researchers at Keio University have developed BiblioRoll, a virtual bookshelf that essentially consists of three LCD displays in a transparent tube. This project helps persons who need to browse through several books, but in a quick and easy manner without actually having to physically search.
Weighted Bookshelf
Not only is this bookshelf great for storing your reading material, but it also keeps things in balance using sliding weights. It ensures that your books are properly organized -- at least by weight -- and allows you to hang flowers or other decorations easily.
