At CES 2008, many companies showcased their latest and greatest ultraslim displays (LCD, plasma, OLED), and we've rounded up a few of our favorites for your viewing enjoyment. Sony XEL-1 OLED Display

At just 3mm-thick, Sony's 11-inch XEL-1 OLED TV boasts 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, a "blazing fast response time", "exceptional color reproduction", two HDMI inputs, and a Memory Stick Photo Viewer.

Panasonic's 1-inch Thin Plasma Display

Whether you're gaming, watching movies, or just checking the weather report, this ultra slim Panasonic plasma should help ensure you enjoy the experience.

Pioneer's "Project Kuro" Plasma

That's right, Pioneer's 50-inch "Project Kuro" plasma measures only 9mm-thick and is capable of displaying absolute black.

Samsung Ultra Slim LCD TV

If you demand the slimmest in displays, the Samsung "Ultra Slim LCD TV" should do the trick. Though technical specifications aren't yet available, they do look paper-thin to say the least, boasting rich and vibrant colors.

i did vote for oled But for now Thin LCD is better. they still have to work away to INSANE HUGE foots that are under the screens. cause running a cable to a screen and haveing a big tunner under the damn screen is the way to say THIN... every thing should fit in 1box the screen and other components.
