Feature: Researchers Develop Vehicle Arresting System, to Replace Spike Strips (with Video)
Researchers have developed a net-based Vehicle Arresting System, called "X-Net", that can be reportedly be deployed in under 20-seconds. It's non-lethal (barbed spike design) and can handle vehicles weighing over 10,000kg. Currently, the military is testing this technology at checkpoints to stop getaway cars. Video after the break.
