Firefox 3.6 to Have Integrated Accelerometer Support

That's right, FireFox 3.6 will be able to detect the screen orientation of accelerometer-equipped laptops, allowing users to manipulate web pages in some weird and creative ways. Continue reading for a video demonstration.

This new feature was announced by Mozilla evangelist Christopher Blizzard. "One new feature that we're including as part of Firefox 3.6 is support for web pages to access machine orientation information if it's available."
