First Look: Red Steel (Wii)

IGN gives us a first look at new Red Steel gameplay footage -- from E3 2006. This game makes great use of the Wiimote, allowing players to reload their gun by pulling back and take cover by moving it forward. Watch after the jump.

This will either be the next level of game play OR it will be another version of the powe glove and we all konw what happened with that one.

I don't know how much of that is actual gameplay or not it sure makes me want to get a Wii now.

i LOVE the ghetto gun turn thing, thats sick. Sword play looks.... well, Air got it right, it will either be the next level, or it will be the power glove. lol

This is like the most coolest thing ever!! like i cam imaging pwning some n00b in star wars using a lightsaber!!! IMAGINE A LIGHTSABER!!!! omg. Also this would be cool in ninja games.

WOW... I was on the fence before this. I am DEFINITELY getting a wii now. If nothing more then to play this game. Yeah, the ghetto gun turning thing is sweet, but what I'm looking foward to is the sword fighting.

WOW... definitly would like to have a Wii. But I still think that Xbox360 is a better console. The controllers for Wii are somewhat of a new idea but like Air said could end up like the power glove. Nintendo had to advertise the power glove in Nightmare on elm street to make any sales. I also think that the PS3 will be the choice of console over the Wii. Nintendo seems to lean towards a younger audience. JaXx
