First Look: Tony Hawk's Project 8

Tony Hawk's Project 8 for the PS3 will feature a brand new graphics engine, which is quite impressive to say the least. The game is set to be released this fall. Trailer after the jump.
What is new is that you'll also need to film video spots, where a filmer will lay out goals for you. You'll be able to see what it looks like on the fly, thanks to new picture-in-picture

im confused.. up top it says ps3 and that it will be realesed this fall??? the ps3 wont be out but then.. and at the end of the video it says its for an Xbox 360.. do you not watch the videos before writing captions for it???

The game, obviously, will not look like that in real time. Even though of this, it looks incredible. The fact that they could produce even an ingame film like that blows me away. The detail of each move and how that move is exucuted is so percise you can barely tell the difference from the real thing. Amazing, I'm really excicted about this game, even though I'm spending all my money on a Dell Ultrasharp 24incher.....maybe ill buy a PS3 instead. I don't know.

i'll be happy if its realistic this time. no more nollie flips up 12 stairs and front fliping off buildings on to cars and what not.

.. at the end of the video, the 360 brand image appears, this is definitely a 360 trailer PS3 fans. :)

Jajaja!!! thats Xbox360!!. Althought it has some pretty graphics it SUCKS! because is a remake!!!. Why are all clips on slowmo'? I want to see real in game renders, in real time, not pre renders!!! Wii60 Rocks!!

the feet int he beginning have bad bone support, the body is badly proportioned, and its pre-rendered. Dynamic shading is far, far off, and atleast in my view, no Tony Hawk game was very good. Not buying a 360 OR PS3 for it. PS3 = too expensive, ripoff of Wii. X360 = No good games, too expensinve. I'm getting a Wii.

I was watching the video, and after seeing ps3 demo reels, I was wondering if this was actually a ps3 game? then I saw the 360 logo at the end and realized that's why it was so polygony, and not quite that realistic. funny thing is, despite the ps3's monstrous ingame graphics, I think the Wii will be the most successful.

Sorry for not crping my pants at this movie but m not veryimpressed. the whole video camrera thing i impressinve but if you just show us some crppy movie of a skateboarding video by "Girl" than i think this whole tony hawks franchise is going to sht. RODNEY MULLEN FTW

Tony Hawk Project 8 was the most awsome game I know that's coming out this fall. Now I didn't exactly crap my pants either but I did something worse HA HA HA! Also I'm Treyan's best Friend.
