Flat Bulb
Designed by Joonhuyn Kim, the Flat Bulb "take up less space and make it easier (and cheaper) to store and transport." No word yet on if this concept will go into production. Click here for first picture in gallery.
A great idea, if not a little late. Perhaps makers of soft-serve style CFLs could take a page out of this book somewhere down the line.[via Gizmodo - Designboom]
