Flexpeaker: The Paper-Thin Speaker

Researchers at Taiwan-based ITRI unveils a production Flexpeaker model, which "produces arrays of tiny speakers that can be joined together to make high-quality speakers of almost any size." Video after the break.

While its frequency response doesn't go below 500Hz, at least the fleXpeaker can reach highs up to 20 KHz.

I'm imagining one whole wall of these.... No wait, 2 walls... Oh why stop there? Every wall in the whole damn ROOM! And the Ceiling too! Then a couple of Subs in the corners to cover the low end, and you have a high fidelity room. Badass.
