Ford Mustang Giugiaro Concept Unveiled

Ford unveils its stunning Mustang Giugiaro concept car, which is "powered by a 500hp supercharged 4.6L 3-valve V8 from the Mustang GT." More pictures after the jump.
The suspension has also been upgraded with new Dynamic-tuned dampers, lowered springs and anti-sway bars that ride on 20in wheels with 275mm tires at the front and huge 315mm rubber at the rear

Cool loking car from outside, but interier is horible.... A cow patern??! Please..... I don't want a cow, I want a car. Only posible in US.... Stupid.

I thought the Logo of the car was a horse not a cow... Still, they are just seats! they can be changed, the body is what matters :D *In Love* they sell concepts dont they? :P

LOL not a cow it's supposed to represent that western style, I mean the cars IS called te mustang. Something like that would be appropiate. But I think the interior looks great, but that pattern they have is an acquired taste. However I find it saddening people find any chance to ridicule the "west" over stupid things, now that's stupid.

A rich Texan with a ten-gallon cowboy hat might hyuck himself all the way to the car-lot to pick himself up one of these things, but the leather seats won't sell to anyone else. Like another reader said... only in the US.

My gawd... Giugaro made this? The exterior is okay, but the interior... so tacky and gaudy. Very untastefully done.

Just wanted to coment on the motor difference. The Ford GT has a 5.4L 32 valve supercharged V8. They are getting the same HP on this one from a 4.6L. By the way the Shelby Cobra GT500 also uses the 5.4L

James the engine is from the Ford GT, not the mustang GT. Correction to James - it is a mustang engine - the Ford GT uses a 5.4 all aluminum engine.

The exterior, specially the proportion is excellent. Though the overall shape reminds me a bit of nissan. The tail lamp and headlamps needs some modification. The interior could have been toned down and ditch the horse fur thing. IMHO this is way better than Camaro concept or Challegner concept.
