Overview

Aukey Wireless Headphones

Inside the box, you’ll find extra ear tips (three different sizes), a microUSB charging cable, an instruction manual, and the headphones themselves. Build quality is excellent, as its construction withstood a drop straight from the box, without any noticeable damage both aesthetically and internally. Our unit came already charged and pairing was as simple as turning the unit on, holding down the power button, and selecting the device from our settings screen.

Aukey Wireless Headphones

We started off by streaming music from a variety of services, including Spotify and Soundcloud, just to see the sound quality of audio that wasn’t encoded at a high bit rate. The music offered crystal-clear vocals, rich bass, and very little to no distortion, regardless of the genre. Afterwards, we tested the headphones with a few high quality MP3s, and noticed even punchier bass, along with full mids. You can leave your mobile device in one room, and listen in another, thanks to the 33-foot wireless range. How long can you go on a single charge? The product description states 20-hours, but we managed to squeeze 22-hours of continuous usage out of our unit, before plugging it in. When answering calls, the audio was perfectly clear, with noise cancellation technology blocking out any unwanted background noise.

Bottom Line

Aukey Wireless Headphones

Aukey’s EP-B39 may not be perfect for those who demand the ultimate in sound quality, but for everyday use, it far exceeded our expectations. They charge quickly, offer simple (yet functional) controls, and are completely covered by Aukey’s 24-month warranty should anything go wrong.
