Why bother with smartwatches, when you could just wear FlexEnable’s OLCD (organic liquid crystal display)? This early prototype was encased in a stiff metal frame, and could be incorporated into future mobile devices. Unfortunately, the technology has not yet progressed to the point where the displays can be flexed freely, but on the bright side, flexible OLED displays could be on smartphones as early as next year.
