Fort Knox Inside

Fort Knox, also known as The United States Bullion Depository, is an ultra secure fortified vault building located within the U.S. Army post of Fort Knox, Kentucky. The exact contents of the United States Bullion Depository are unknown as there has never been an approved full audit since the early 1930s, but some say that it it holds roughly 3% of all the gold ever refined throughout human history. One thing you may not know is that during World War II and into the Cold War, until the invention of different types of synthetic painkillers, a supply of processed morphine and opium was kept in the Depository as a hedge against the US being isolated from the sources of raw opium.
