Based on the BMW i3 EV, Rinspeed’s Budii is fully autonomous, thanks to a laser scanner extending from the roof of the vehicle paired with a Kappa Optronics camera. It uses this technology to navigate a 3D perspective map of the surrounding terrain. Riders can control everything in the car via a smart watch or smartphone.
