Cat Armor

If cats or mice were to ever fight in a war, they’d probably be wearing armor made by artist and geek Jeff de Boer. This all came about when he started crafting them 30-years-ago as a side project during one of his sculpting classes. It eventually became his claim to fame, and the armor ranges from Ancient Rome gladiator-inspired armor to ones from the Renaissance. Various metals are used, including bronze and copper, and each piece takes anywhere from 10 (mouse) to 200 (cat armor) hours. Click here to view the first image in today’s viral picture gallery.
