Guy Cracks Open Faulty iPhone, Finds Lots of Pocket Lint

When it comes to broken iPhones, pocket lint probably isn't the first thing that comes to mind when trying to pin the problem. That's exactly what this Popular Mechanics editor found. Click here for one more picture. Here's his story:

Only after I had dismantled the motherboard, separated the screen and delicately pealed free the "home" button's backplate from the adhesive that had affixed it to the machine's front glass could I see what had disabled my iPhone. Lint.
