Motorcycle from Wrecked Car

When Frenchman Emile Leray became stranded in a Moroccan desert in 1993 with a non-drivable Citroen, he turned on his MacGyver instincts. This enterprising electrician would not be denied in his quest to find his way back home and singlehandedly rebuilt his Citreon into a makeshift motorbike. Simply put, his clever engineering involved converting the car’s rear bumper into a faux seat, shortening the chassis, and placing the engine and gearbox in the middle to create a vehicle which somehow kept going long enough to transport him to safety.
