H-Racer Now On Sale

Measuring a tiny 16cm x 11cm, the H-Racer is undoubtedly the world's smallest fuel-cell powered car. A mini Hydrogen refueling station is also included -- once the car is fueled, it can be disconnected and run on its own hydrogen fuel cell system. Available now here for $40.
Recently nominated for the Intel Environment award in Silicon Valley's Tech Museum, Horizon's miniature car is about to spread a positive message to a wide audience of children and adults around the world

It fails to tell you how fast it goes, how long it will last between refuelings, and if its remote controlled or not. All of which is very imortant information to have before you go and spend $80 on it (yes $80, because the refueling station is NOT included).

Read their brochure: the small picture bottom left is the fuel cell, and the close-up images of the transparent car (which looks very cheap and flimsy I have to say) reveal no obvious signs of server motors and links for controlling the wheels. Looks like a point and shoot system. At least the technology is now available. All we need is for some bedroom expert to transfer the fuel cell technology into a decent controlable car!

I now have one and it is cool! To answer all the questions: straight, no remote, 80 includes car & station & solar panel, between 2min and 4min, about as slow as an 8 year can stand to walk or about as fast as an 80 year old can walk, not bastards, no can fit inside, delivered in 6 days from shanghai, good fit and finish but car pulls slightly to the right (5cm over 3m). All round - great toy.
