Helicycle Helicopter Motorcycle

Unlike other three-wheeled motorcycles, the Helicycle transforms into a gyrocopter in 10-minutes or less. A 230-hp, four-cylinder engine powers the craft to a maximum of 112 mph in the air or on the road, with a 220-mile (air) / 750-mile (road) range, thanks to a 27-gallon fuel tank. When used as a street-legal vehicle, it goes from 0-60 mph in under 8-seconds, complete with a proprietary tilting system that provides the agility of a motorcycle. When traveling by air, the craft’s propeller, rotor, and dual rudders deploy in 10 minutes. The gyrocopter’s non-powered overhead rotor spins as a result of the forward motion of the vehicle to provide lift. Best of all, it only requires a 540′ runway for takeoffs (just 100′ for landings).
