Most wheelchairs are not made to go off-road, this one is. Introducing HexHog, a battery-powered, joystick-controlled wheelchair ATV hybrid that boasts a patented flexing chassis for high-level stability. Its 36-volt lithium ion battery has a range of up to 12 miles when fully charged, and an 8.5 mph top speed over just about any kind of terrain. There's also a nifty seat transfer system that advances and lowers the driving seat to a position for independent transfer from a wheelchair as well as a sealed 6x6 transmission and raised drive motors in conjunction with the flexing chassis for treading water / snow / sand / mud / etc. Click here to view the first image in today's viral picture gallery.
