Students at DeLaSalle High School in Kansas City, Mo. have built the world's most efficient electric car, and it's reportedly "a see-thru, F1-style racer that gets 300mpg equivalent." Click here for more pictures.

DeLaSalle electric car features ultra light-weight aerodynamic body, dressed with Bridgestone Ecopia EP100 tires. It was a part of the class project, based on electric propulsion.
