When is a house not a house? When you turn it into a working PC. This case was modeled after a normal two story home and sports a floppy drive above the garage along with a CD-ROM flower bed.

Seriously. I am sick with thick people who can only look at this and see a waste. They did this because they could. Why did bugatti build the veyron? because they could.
When they built this house PC, they didn't consider mass production. No one would really buy it.
Why can't you look at it for what it is. It's a piece of art regardless.

Great for the builder..corny idea but they got recognized and that's worth it..for them anyway.

Well, it gives "Home computer" a different meaning, But I think its just plain stupid.. Define unique... Shaping a turd into a statue of liberty is unique too. Also, theres no credit to be had on this one. Its not amazingly small, its not all that complex. Its just a tipped over computercase. Any dumbass can nail 4 walls and a roof together. If theyd bother making it look a little more complex like the white house or a nice castle something, sure, that would be skillfull building. This is just slightly above 3rd grade woodshop birdhouse building.

Uhm, you guys need to read up on modding PCs. It's not about mass production, its just home projects that you show off.

some people consider art to be anything that creates a response. That response could be positive or negative, and judging by the comments here, i think they've created art! :Þ

in the scheme of things - the big picture, ... computing will always have unmet potential. It's "the small steps taken on giants backs" (William Shatner *Star Trek*) that make the difference.
