How it's Made: Optical Fiber

If you've always wanted to know how optical fiber was made, check out this interesting clip. Video after the jump.
An optical fiber or fibre is a thin, transparent fiber, usually made of glass or plastic, for transmitting light. Fiber optics is the branch of applied science and engineering concerned with such optical fibers. Optical fibers are commonly used in telecommunication systems, as well as in illumination, sensors, and imaging optics

so where is the part that explains the total inerrflexion of the light beam. and the machine used to transmit the fiber optic information inside of the Fiber. and the coller and angle in witch the beam is sent in to the cable ;) alitlebit of a simpel explanation ;)
