Tired of regular bowls? Then why not make your own chocolate bowls? All you need are some standard balloons, melted chocolate (any variety would work), and you're ready to go. These are great for ice cream and possibly a few other frozen snacks. Continue reading for the tutorial.

Basic Bowl

This is the no frills version that will definitely get the job done, in a non-aesthetically pleasing way. We recommend a chocolate that won't melt immediately in your hand, such as high quality Couverture Chocolate or Ultra Couverture Chocolate.



Fancy Version

If nothing but the fanciest of chocolate bowls will do, this video tutorial will serve you well. Simply put, the creations you make using these techniques should produce bowls that belong in a professional bakery, like Jean Philippe Patisserie inside the Bellagio, Las Vegas.
