In this classic "The Screen Savers" segment, Kevin Rose attempts to overclock a $6 electric toothbrush to perform like its $100 Sonicare counterpart. Video after the jump.
“The motor is actually rated for more power,” he said. Kevin took apart the case, added wires to the battery terminals, then added a battery pack (available at Radio Shack) on the outside. A little less attractive, perhaps, but it did exhibit speeded up performance

funny thing is.... Iv'e done this months before the this episode was aired!

This is really cool, but the only problem I come too is that I usually use too much toothpaste, and it ends up getting all over the toothbrush, which makes me have to waterdown the whole toothbrush...
