Today, Apple announced that Steve Jobs will be hosting the WWDC 2011 opening keynote, and is expected to focus on the company’s iCloud, iOS 5, and Mac OS X Lion products. Insider sources claim that “Apple last month was reported to have purchased the iCloud.com domain name, with additional reports claiming that Apple has indeed been referring to its streaming service by that name.”

Apple has confirmed that it will be announcing iCloud on June 6th, what it’s calling an “upcoming cloud services offering.” That will be part of the keynote for this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, known to the cool kids as WWDC.
