The Rubik’s Cube, roll of tape, and sneaker all look real, but when you look closely, you’ll see that they were all cleverly printed on pieces of paper. In film terms, an anamorphic lens basically stretches images vertically, to cover the entire film frame, resulting in higher quality but a distorted image.
