Infrared Sauna Burns Calories

According to the manufacturer (Healthmate), these saunas can burn up to 1000 calories in 30 minutes using "infrared sauna technology to heat the body directly without having to heat the air as in traditional steam saunas". A single-person unit costs $3500, while the five-person unit is priced at $8250.
Healthmate is quick to point out that infrared heat has nothing to do with ultraviolet or atomic radiation, which would provide the opposite of Healthmate saunas’ claimed health benefits, including detoxification, weight loss and holistic well being. All models are fitted with a Panasonic CD/tuner

With this, is would only take about 1hr. 45 min. to burn a pound of fat, not bad at all.
