Six Flags New Orleans has been closed since 2005 due to Hurricane Katrina, but the rejuvenation process has now just begun. Here's a rare look inside the park and its desolate scenery. Videos after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.
The defunct park is too expensive to rebuild and too expensive to abandon, so it sits and waits for decay to claim it. The park opened as Jazzland in 2000, but Six Flags bought this amusement park in 2002.[via Weburbanist]
