Apple may have accidentally leaked information about one of its upcoming iPhone models in the company's HomePod speaker firmware. That's right, developer Steve Troughton-Smith discovered a face unlock feature for the iPhone, which enables users to get past the lock screen by just looking at the handset. This could also mean that not every model will have TouchID, but FaceUnlock instead. continue reading for another video, more pictures and information.
"Included in the code is also a picture of an iPhone prototype which doesn't have any bezel or the Touch ID button. Separately, a leaked paper insert for the upcoming iPhone boxset, which shows how to remove the SIM card tray, also painted a similar picture of the iPhone," reports Gadgets 360.
