A very skilled auto enthusiast has always wanted a Hummer H1, but refused to pay the insanely high prices for even used models, so…he decided to build his own, using a Ford F150 as the base. No, it’s not a rebuild or fiberglass kit, but rather an all-steel, hand fabricated, near-military spec level replica. The frame was sourced from a 1987 F150 4×4 and the rear axle was pulled out of a E250 van. On the inside, it’s powered by a 7.3L Powerstroke diesel engine from a shuttle van.
