KLM Plane Apartment

The Jumbo Hostel in Sweden was one of the first plane to hotel conversions, but KLM brings a personal touch with their own version. Currently listed on Airbnb, this McDonnell Douglas MD-11 successfully charted 3,675 flights over its lifetime and now is a luxurious apartment, complete with “an open plan lounge room, study zone, master bedroom with a king size bed, second bedroom with two single beds, two fully equipped kitchens, 116 jet windows, eight tiny bathrooms and a panoramic cockpit.” Continue reading for more images and information.

“The aviation apartment also comes with free Wi-Fi, a coffee maker, a library full of books and magazines, use of the buzzer/wireless intercom and a viewing room where guests can enjoy extra leg room as they watch the planes come in and depart from the adjacent airport,” according to Gizmag.
