The classic Porsche 910 is an iconic race car, and the Kreisel Evex 910e is simply a street-legal, electric replica. Powered by a 360 kW electric system, it propels the 2,400-pound vehicle from 0-62 mph in a zippy 2.5-seconds, and enables it to top out at 185mph. On a fully charge, one can travel up to 215-miles, and that’s not all, the battery also acts as a bi-directional energy storage solution when it’s plugged in at home. “Kreisel developed a two-speed automated transmission with a gear transmission ratio of 8.16 (in first gear) and 4.67 (in second gear), as well as self-locking differential and integrated, electric oil pump to ensure lubrication and cooling. the high-performance (lithium-ion) battery pack, with a capacity of 53 kilowatt-hours weights 1.100 kilograms and enables a realistic range of 350 kilometres. To accommodate the battery system as well as the powertrain in the rear, the frame of the original car�s frame was slightly modified,” reports Design Boom.
