Lego Stair Climber

It's time for our daily "Strange Lego Creation". Today, we bring you the P'titgneugneu by Philo. This stair climber robot -- composed of a "central part", rotating platform, six motors, bar lifting mechanism, steering cage, and light/touch/rotation sensors -- can climb/descend four steps in 4 min. 13 seconds. Actually, this is not the first Lego Stair Climber. Already back in 1979 a stair-climber was designed for the danish movie Olsen Banden (http://imdb.com/title/tt0079662/). A group of people are going to break in to an officebuilding and they use the Lego Stair Climber to get past some stairs and disable an alarm. But still a cool thing ;)

I'm 82 years gid and when I was about 15 I had a gadget that went down stairs. It was a simole coil soring about 4 inches lomg and about 4 inched tall when collapsed' I think it was called "Slinky".
