Loving Vincent

Loving Vincent, the world’s first fully oil-painted animated film, investigates the mystery surrounding the death of celebrated artist Vincent van Gogh. The completed masterpiece contains over 65,000 hand-painted frames, a gargantuan undertaking that was partially funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign. It features over 120 of Vincent Van Gogh’s greatest paintings. The plot is drawn from the 800 letters written by the painter himself.
