Meizu M6 miniPlayer Reviewed

AnythingButiPod recently got their hands on the Meizu M6 miniPlayer, which features a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 1GB ($139) - 4GB ($219) of memory, video playback, SRS 2.0, OGG support, 20 hour battery life (audio), and dual processing chips for enhanced sound/image quality . Video after the jump.
As far as sound quality, the miniPlayer runs with the big dogs, especially when it comes to lower end. Bass heads will be very pleased. The M6 miniPlayer is definitely worth considering and should be put into your comparison chart when selecting a new flash based player

Give me Mac Compatability and it'll be my iPod replacement. And yeah, that is an Mac desktop picture. Maybe it has background wallpaper customization. That would be a neat feature...

backgrounds can be changed to anything you like, latest firmware lets you change text color too so you can use dark and light backgrounds also, it should work on a mac fine because it is just a USB mass storage device. You mount it, drop your mp3s into it from your file browser, then boot it up and select Update Music Library and it creates a browsable database of your music.

Hello all, Well, after LOTS of research, I bought the M6. It is a FANTASTIC machine! It is easy to see cover art, but it is not automatic as I hope it will be with a firmware release. You can also sync lyrics karaoke style, or read Macbeth while listening to Bob Dylan. you can also watch a full movie on the device, it has much better Quality than even the top Ipods albeit a tiny bit smaller than the big ipods... for video get a creative vision machine. for a flash mp3 player, its hard to beat this beautiful, solid device. I got a white one last week and gave it to my son, and get my black one today... thanks meizu! Mark.

Yeah, I would much prefer this thing over an IPOD simply because I hate the fact that you have to use the IPOD program to sync up music everytime. Sometimes, your at a place where they dont' have the program and you need the music. The drag and drop makes it soo much easier. If IPOD had that, i'd get one!
