An 84-year-old metalworker created the awesome fire pit you see above for his grandchildren this past Christmas, resembling the Death Star II battlestation. For those who don’t follow Star Wars, Death Star II was basically the second Death Star battlestation, and it was much larger than its predecessor, measuring over 160 kilometers wide. Construction began after the destruction of the first Death Star at the Battle of Yavin. Emperor Palpatine insisted it be based on the original, as the Death Star was an integral part in his plan to destroy the Rebel Alliance.
