Microsoft Releases "Birds" Zune Ad

Microsoft releases yet another strange "Zune" advertisement, titled "Birds". It's quite disturbing to say the least. What are your thoughts? Video after the jump.

First this has been around for a couple of months. Second I wouldn't call it disturbing. While Ashtar wouldn't be on top of my list of favorite bands visually the ad does go very well with the song. Visually it's a great ad. Set aside your MS hate for 20 seconds then watch it again. If you still hate it the problem is you.

MS Just pump this kind of ads for web-sites like this, it is a part of a ad campain to make the namne of the product known.

meh. you guys are close minded. not willing to give it a chance because it challenges your ipod idol and your slick plastic worlds. its a bizarre ad for sure, but i think it rocks. jolting and amusing. certainly sparks curiosity. get a life you shallow-minded appleworms.

I'm a HS teacher...unfortunately I would be that ad gets a lot of playtime online just because they lit a bird on fire. MS must be thinking back to Beavis and Butthead...fire is cool.

well ben I guess I fit into that bunch, cause this advertisement is freaking awesome...just amazing...perhaps you like the headon commercials...those are nice and predictable...

The people bashing the ad are hilarious. You know if you were shown the ad and told it was from Apple you would be declaring it a work of art. Get a life and get over it - it's an ad. For those who are brainlocked over what it's saying - the dull grey bird is sent a song by the other bird and at the end they both listen to it. It's difficult for some I know...
