You read that right, millionaire and former NASA engineer Dennis Tito aims to launch a manned mission to flyby Mars in January 2018. The planned mission is a 501-day free-return mission which will allow the spacecraft to use the smallest possible amount of fuel to get it to Mars and back to Earth.
