What could be better than an all-new Kinect? Well, how about a next-generation model that’s actually bundled with the Xbox One. The Kinect 2 builds upon its predecessor by adding more sensitivity (three times as sensitive), a 60-degree-larger field of view, IR sensing (works in pitch black room), and both 2D / 3D cameras. The Kinect 2 also boasts improved skeleton mapping that is capable of tracking your individual hand motions and shoulder shrugs. On a similar note, the muscle tracker shows you what parts of your body have pressure on them – great for martial arts games. Last, but not least, Kinect 2’s voice recognition technology can hear your voice, specifically, no matter what noises are around you.
