Astronaut Neil Armstrong was the first man to set foot on the moon July 20th, 1969, and today, we celebrate the 41st anniversary of the occasion. After Neil helped "set up the Early Apollo Scientific Experiment Package, [he] went for a walk to what is now known as East Crater, 65 yards (60 m) east of the LM, the greatest distance traveled from the LM on the mission."
