Most Wanted PS3 Launch Titles

With the PS3 launch looming, we decided to compile a list of the top 5 most wanted launch titles. Around 30 games have been announced - after searching a countless number of sources we've shortened that list to just five. Don't agree with our choices? Feel free to leave a comment with your own favorites.

5. Tekken 6

Publisher: Namco What can we say? Even though gameplay footage hasn't been released, the Jin Kazama trailer is utterly amazing. It can't be denied that Tekken 6 will definitely have a bunch of new features - stunning 3D graphics being one of them.

4. Devil May Cry 4

Publisher: Capcom The high-res graphics are gorgeous and should really push the hardware boundaries. After playing Devil May Cry 3, we can't wait to get our hands on this one.

3. Vision Gran Turismo

Publisher: SCEA If this game is anything like the demo, you'll now be racing against 16+ cars at once instead of the usual 12. It also offers many original courses like Monaco and Grand Canyon along with what appears to be a new snow covered track.

2. Resident Evil 5

Publisher: Capcom This game is set to take place after Resident Evil 4 and will use the same gameplay model as its predecessor. Capcom has been hush about any other details but we do know that Jun Takeuchi of Onimusha fame will be producing this title along with several others who worked on the original RE.

1. Metal Gear Solid 4

Publisher: Konami Solid Snake will be the main playable character in this game which takes place "X" years after "Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty". Kojima Productions will be co-directing MGS4 with Shuyo Murata.

I f'ing hate flash as a streaming media player, this was the worst expierience trying to watch a movie ever. What's so wrong with quicktime? Other than that good list.

long shot, and even though it hasn't been officially announced, a remake of Final Fantasy 7 would be a brilliant idea.

Is that the Spiderman font on the playstation? (I know it's not called the Spiderman font, but by now, everyone has to be associating it with that movie)

zach the ps3 hasnt been realesed anywhere yet as the guy before said, rumour has it that there is a global realease date and from looking at a website it looks like its around october and not spring like everyone thinks, so get your facts straight

i hate the controller too its looks mad gay ..PLZ PLZ PLZ let MGS4 come out for xbox 360 iluv mgs series its awsome and i would buy the ps3 just for it ...even tho i already have the xbox 360 lol nahh im jk but i hope it does

No you nubs, the PS3 isnt out anywhere, Sony are still trying to fit the HDD into it. And the rumoured release date is Summer.

you guys are dumb, the PS3 has not been released anywhere yet...and this time around ANDREW, its going to be released worldwide at the same time, USA is getting it the same time as Japan. And ZACH, you first said you ordered it from overseas, then you said your dad picked it up? no games are even released for it yet. why do people do this?
