One of our readers just sent in this nifty clip of a MacBook owner using AMSTracker software and its built-in motion sensor to quickly switch between OS X, CentOS, and Windows XP. Video after the jump.

Looks fake to me. The switching on certain occasions looks like he timed it wrong.

That's neither fake nor impressive. If you want to do it, too download VirtueDesktops and set a screen for each OS.
His motion-sensing transition, by the way, will become pretty annoying once he starts adjusting his computer a little and finds himself in another OS. Additionally, the method is inconsistent, because a lot of the time tilting the MacBook to the left loads the OS from the left (it should be from the right). He should stick to keyboard shortcuts, since they're 100% consistent and don't require you to lift your MacBook and tilt.

Fake?!?
He's "just" using VirtueDesktop and AMSTracker hack to switch between virtual desktops with different virtual machines running different OSes!
I've seen lots of better videos than this:

You can't possibly think that he's going to use that as his switching method all the time... he's doing it just because he can, the most common and satisfying reason for doing weird stuff on your computer. Telling people how to do it is great, but criticizing him is a little silly.

This is the same thing as the Smackbook haxie, though the sensitivity values have been changed. Only thing different is he's using Parallels in full-screen mode to swtich between OS'es, which many people have done months ago. It uses the same AMSTracker script. I don't see how this is news at all.

He didn't grab a screen, you can see him using the actual OS.

[...] Similar to the motion-controlled OS switching, Bill used Gentoo Linux, a Penmount touchscreen, Gnome, and XGL to create a “3D Desktop” interface. Video after the jump. [...]

parishilton sex tape
A nicely crafted haiku without a parishilton sex tape remark purposefulness transport additional probe since it does extend the tenants of standard haiku, but if it is OK adequate, it can be recognized. We all get off together.
