MPGlass 230M

For $521 (£300), you could own a pair of these MPGlass 230M "home cinema glasses", which display an image that's equivalent to a 30-inch screen. Simply hook up your portable DVD player or gaming console to the AV inputs and you're set. Great for long road trips and flights.
From the article: "The display is set up so that you can look away and be 'back in the room', aware of what’s going on, but also so that snooping fellow passengers can’t get a squiz at what you’re watching."

apple designed this + video ipod is the way it should head imo. portable dvd players are bulky like discmans but ipods still fit in the pocket. they just need to get the size of the glasses down and make them look less like they belong in tron.

Kyle, playing any computer game on AV inputs would suck horrendously. I know... I've hooked up a computer through AV before :D It didn't work out very well. You can't even read the text. The resolution is most likely 800x600.

Yeah, most likely 800x600. Useful for watching videos but pretty useless for playing a game. ;o(
